Ka-Mun Fung: Testimonials
“Ka-Mun has been my trusted trainer for the last year and a half. Together we have done both cardio and weight training routines and I find her expertise in all areas both motivating and reassuring.
Ka-Mun is extremely knowledgeable; she is always learning new techniques and methods to help speed up the process and make working out fun and I have had some super results! I would be lost without her weekly guidance and I look forward to our weekly sessions.
On top of that, she has a bubbly personality and is extremely fun to be around. I would whole-heartedly recommend her to any prospective employers or clients.”

“The great thing about Ka-Mun’s sessions is … the feeling you get about 30 minutes after the session. The endorphin kick from having your heart rate constantly raised for the previous hour as you move from weight-loss cardio work to bone-strengthening weights is a natural high. And it lasts a good two days afterwards.
Ka-Mun keeps the pressure up, ensuring that you improve each session, at a pace you can cope with. She does this by taking into consideration your fitness level, your familiarity with the equipment, and your energy levels on the day.”
“As an Australian facing my first English winter I found it incredibly difficult to keep up the exercise but with Ka-Mun’s motivation and positive attitude I managed to tone up and lose a few kilos over the winter.
Ka-Mun has an excellent warm friendly style and is creative with her sessions. She challenged me with training sessions that I would never have done on my own and helped me understand my own strengths and weaknesses. My core strength increased significantly and I am now no longer daunted by complicated gym equipment.
Somehow Ka-Mun makes a 1 hour session feel like 15 mins which helps keep you motivated to return for more. Ka-Mun set realistic and attainable goals and developed a programme to reach them. Thanks Ka-Mun!”

Ka-Mun Fung: About Me
I grew up with sport and fitness playing a huge part of my life. As a teenager I dabbled in all sports ranging from ballet to football, representing the school in all areas. I trained with the Leerman Academy of Dance in Ballet for a number of years but then found that what I excelled at was basketball and I went on to represent Kingston upon Thames for many years after that.
With the persistent strain on both ankle joints as a result of playing basketball competitively; I injured them really badly by overstretching all the ligaments around my Achilles tendon. From this result I was warned by physiotherapists to stay away from competitive action to prevent further serious injury to my ankles joints. The dream of continuing with a basketball-playing career was shattered.
From here I looked into coaching basketball at grass root levels but wanted to achieve and help others on much higher grounds and excel higher than just a coach. From here is where I looked into personal training. Instantly I was hooked. Learning new knowledge about how to achieve the best for your body and having clients who have placed their full trust in your knowledge in helping them to succeed with their goals is very rewarding for me.
